The Bridge at Cooperstown

Sugar Creek enters French Creek about 4 miles west of Franklin at the village of Sugar Creek. The stream can be accessed from route 427 between Wyattville and Cooperstown. Route 427 connects 322 to Cooperstown. The stream is right along the road most the way to Cooperstown. Some of the earliest hatches in Venango occur on this stream. The grannom caddis fly usually appears about the third week end of April. The stream is stocked once before season and twice in season.

Of Creek Mile Road and Davis Road

The East Branch of Sugar Creeks enters Sugar Creek just north of Cooperstown. This part of the part of sugar creek passes through Game lands 96. It is accessible from Davis road. Davis road connects route 427 to Tarr road. Creek Mile Road and Goodman Road connect 417 to Tarr Road from the Dempseytown area.

The East branch is usually stocked once before season and once in season.
