Lower Two Mile Run enters the Allegheny about 2 miles south of
Franklin route 322. Lower Two Mile Run can be accessed from
sr3025 the Deep Hollow road. The stream is right along the road
most the way. Deep Hollow road starts on the west end of Oil City
on west First Street near the Venango Campus of Clarion
University and ends at the intersect of route 322. This a very
good stream for young fisherman. There is a lot of easy access to
this stream from the Deep hollow road. The stream is very brushy
in point. Where the stream enters the Allegheny river at the
intersection of route 322 and sr3025 is a favorite fishing
location of many.
Lower Two mile is usually stock twice a year,
once before season and once in season. Bait fishing is the usual
method on Lower Two Mile, but a general purpose fly like an Adams
works well .
